Planting
March to April, 6″/15cm apart and 2″/5cm Deep
Soil/Position
Partial shade is essential. Well-drained with a good supply of humus.
Expert advice
The plants dislike having roots disturbed but colonies may be thinned after foliage has died down. Propagation by division of crowns in late autumn.
