Begoniaย is aย genusย ofย perennialย flowering plantsย in the familyย Begoniaceae. The genus contains more than 1,800 different plant species making it one of the genera of flowering plants.
The Begonias are native to moist subtropical and tropical climates. Some species are commonly grown indoors as ornamentalย houseplants in cooler climates like England.
In cooler climates some species are cultivated outside in summertime for their bright colourful flowers, which have sepalsย but noย petals.

One of the tips for growing begonia as houseplants is to place them somewhere where they will get bright, indirect light and will get plenty of humidity. If the air in your house is dry, especially in the winter, it is a good idea to set your begonia houseplants on a shallow tray filled with pebbles and water
Little Brother Montgomery – A tall growing variety. Leaves maple shaped (up to 25cm). Dark veins and edges covered in silver spots which merge together in the leaf margins. The young leaves have a pink tinge.
