Flowering for several years between paving stones, in rockeries, woodland, under trees and shrubs and in tubs on terrace and balcony.
Planting
September – December., 3″/8 cm apart and 3″/8 cm deep
Soil/Position
Full sun or partial shade. Tolerant to all well-drained garden soils. A sandy chalky soil is prefered.
Expert advice
Hardy in all areas, increases rapidly from offsets and self-seeding, should be lifted, divided and replanted every 4-5 years. A mulch of rich compost in winter will encourage vigorous bloom.
