Tomato ‘Ailsa Craig’ is particularly noted for the exceptional flavour of its fruit, which ripens early in the season. This well known gardener’s favourite produces medium sized tomatoes with a uniform size and shape and an excellent deep colour. Grow this vigorous cordon variety in the greenhouse or outdoors. Companion planting: Try growing tomatoes with French marigolds to deter whitefly, and basil, chives or mint to deter aphids and other pests.
